What funds are available for investment?
Your health savings account has a mutual fund investment account component and a debit card/checking account component. You can make contributions to either or both:
- Vanguard investment option: You may choose to invest your HSA money in up to 4 of the 22 Vanguard funds offered. View a full list of funds on the Health Savings Administrators website.
- Debit card/checking account option: If you choose to invest in an interest-bearing checking account, a debit card will be issued to you. This card can be used to pay for eligible medical expenses or to reimburse you for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses from your available account balance. Please note you cannot access the Vanguard mutual funds through your debit card account.
How do I change my current investment/checking options or allocate future contributions to my HSA?
You can access the Health Savings Account Investment Change Form on the Health Savings Administrators website to:
- Change your current investment or checking account options.
- Allocate future HSA contributions to the investment you choose.
