Have you ever scheduled a medical procedure and wondered how much you'll owe when the bill comes in? Did you know that you might be able to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars in health care costs, just based on your selection of providers or the facility you choose for a medical test such as an MRI?
Use Aetna's Member Payment Estimator to compare costs for a medical service or procedure, as well as to get a real-time estimate of your out-of-pocket health care expenses before you schedule an appointment.
This easy-to-use tool lets you plan ahead and helps eliminate much of the financial uncertainty that comes along with preparing for your health care needs. The estimator indicates your responsibility for the service as if it were the next claim processed by your plan. For example, if you're enrolled in the Aetna HealthFund, the tool will consider your health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) balance, deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
