The Aetna Nurse Line connects you with a team of registered nurses offering information on a variety of health topics, 24 hours a days, 7 days a week. This service is available to all Vanguard crew members and their covered family members who participate in the Aetna medical plans.
When should you call the Aetna Nurse Line?
- When you're in good health—for general information about health, preventive care, and early detection of illness.
- When you're ill—for general information about your illness, medications, tests, procedures, and surgery.
- When you're getting ready to see or call the doctor—for help preparing a list of questions.
Through the Aetna Nurse Line, you also have access to Aetna's Audio Health Library, a recorded collection of more than 2,000 health topics available in both English and Spanish.
